French toast recipe (Breakfast)

 

Ingredients

6 slices of bread

2 large eggs

1/4 cup milk or cream

1 tsp sugar

1/4 cinnamon

pinch of salt

splash of vanilla extract

butter and vegetable oil for cooking

Making the batter for the bread

Step1: Make use of a pie plate or any wide shallow bowl Crack in 2 large eggs, try not to get the cracks or eggs into bowl

Step2: Use a fork to whisk the eggs

Step3: Add a 1/4 cup of milk or cream

Step4: Add to spoon of granulated sugar

Step5: Add a 1/4 tsp of cinnamon

Step6: Add a pinch of salt and a quick splash of vanilla

Step7: Using a fork whisk the ingredients together and make sure that the eggs are smooth

Step8: Set a frying pan over a medium heated stove, Add teaspoon of vegetable oil as well as a little pad of butter.

Step9: Duck your bread really quickly on one side, flip it over and get it coated on the other side as well and then add that to your pan

Step 10; let it fry for a couple minutes on one side and flip once it get golden brown on the bottom

Step 11; add a little bit of vegetable oil and butter after each slice and continue frying

Step 12: Plate your bread and add bit of maple syrup on top (optional)
